With its unique jazz sound, the Glenn Miller Orchestra is considered to be one of the greatest bands of all time. Formed in March 1938, the second Glenn Miller Orchestra is a 19-member band which plays many of the original Miller arrangements that are sure to keep the audience entertained. As of January 2011, trombonist Gary Tole is the orchestra’s new musical director. They are now playing more modern selections in the big-band style, carefully selecting only those newer tunes that lend themselves naturally to the Miller style and sound.
